Newport is a beautiful place for weddings, so whatever you choose, you will have a wonderful day. Many couples and wedding planners have chartered the M/V Gansett for wedding events - to have parties on board for relatives, sunset tours of the harbor for friends, cocktail parties for the rehearsal evening, wedding day breakfasts-at-sea, and even weddings and small receptions aboard. We always try to make every occasion special, so if you'd like to consider using the M/V Gansett give us a call and tell us your ideas. The crew on this boat is great, and well-trained to be helpful and courteous to guests. We'd like to work with your wedding planners, too, as well as your florists or caterers. The M/V Gansett is quite family friendly, and easy to board for children and seniors who may have limited mobility. The seats on the covered main deck are cushioned and comfortable, and the boat has broad, flat decks which are perfect for small groups of up to 49 people. The boat is available mid-May through late October, seven days a week from early morning to after dark.
